The Chicago White Sox’s pitching and hitting came to play in a 5-2 victory against the Kansas City Royals. Errors plagued the Royals, and after the hardships the Sox faced for years against the Golden Crowns, it’s nice to see the scale tip in favor of the Good Guys.
After putting runners on the corners in the first, the Sox started scoring right away in the second inning. Eloy Jiménez blasted a solo shot to center field, and it’s still looking to come down to the ground! At 471 feet, it’s the longest White Sox home run of the season.
