Chicago White Sox second baseman Brett Lawrie has earned himself a new nickname from team broadcaster Jason Benetti: "Canadian Vampire."
Lawrie, a native of Langley, Canada, uses a white mouthguard that makes it look like he has vampire fangs when it sticks out of his mouth.

As MLB.com points out, Lawrie's career numbers in night games are much better than in day games, perhaps supporting the idea of his double life as a vampire baseball player.
