Breaking: White Sox acquire Nomar Mazara

The Chicago White Sox acquired Nomar Mazara on Tuesday night from the Texas Rangers in exchange for prospect Steele Walker as reported by Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News and TR Sullivan of MLB.com.

Mazara, 24, is coming off a season in which he hit .268/.318/.469 with 19 homers and 66 RBI to give himself a 94 wRC+ and 0.5 fWAR.

His defense in right field is slightly below average as he had -4 DRS and a -2.7 UZR in 878 1/3 innings in 2019 as detailed by FanGraphs.
