White Sox fans know Ken “Hawk” Harrelson perhaps better than anyone. They recognize and appreciate his passion, baseball knowledge and famous slogans as well as his love for the Sox organization, the fans and the city of Chicago. He’s been our guy and, in many ways, one of the true faces of the franchise.
That said, there is much more to Hawk than even we, his loyal followers, know as he ends his long run in the Sox TV booth this season. The good news is that it’s all documented in his entertaining, insightful and sometimes emotional new book (co-authored by Jeff Snook and published by Triumph Books) that will be available for purchase on May 29.
