John Danks knows his start against the Angels on Thursday wasn't pretty, but after putting the White Sox in big holes in his previous two outings, he was happy to at least keep it close.
Danks gave up two earned runs on five hits with five walks and two strikeouts over six innings in a 3-2 loss to the Angels. The Angels' only runs against him came off a Mike Trout homer with two outs in the fifth.
"Shoot, at this point, I'm not worried about how it looks," Danks said.
