When Bo Jackson first met for dinner with former players of the White Sox Amateur City Elite program this month, he threatened them.
“They called me Bo,” Jackson said Monday from Sox spring training at Camelback Ranch. “I said, ‘If you are younger than my kids, you have to call me Mister.’”
The dinner, however, was served with advice instead of further threats.
Jackson and Harold Baines, former Sox greats who now serve as team ambassadors, joined former Simeon High School players Corey Ray, Blake Hickman and Darius Day earlier this month for the meal.
