Blue Jays beat White Sox 10-5; Lopez’s struggles continue

Tonight’s 10-5 loss won’t go down as one of the greatest White Sox efforts in franchise history — in fact it will likely be deemed one of the worst.

The first inning set the tone for what was to be a disappointingly adventurous night for the Sox.

The team’s starting pitcher for tonight, Reynaldo Lopez, gave up a solo home run to notorious White Sox killer Curtis Granderson on the second pitch of the ball game.

The third pitch? Another home run — this time from Lourdes Gurriel Jr, his sixth of the year.
