After an eight-run inning in Sunday’s twin bill opener and the epic 14-run ninth in the nightcap, the White Sox put another eight spot on the board yesterday in the second inning and held on to a 9–5 victory over the Indians at Camelback Ranch-Glendale. The Good Guys, who pounded out 12 hits, are now 10–7–1 in Cactus League competition.
All eight runs in the second came on home runs. 1B Cody Asche and RF Rymer Liriano hit two-run blasts and 2B Tyler Saladino followed by launching a grand slam.
