After a brief hiatus into something called ... winning? ... the White Sox were back to their old tricks on Saturday, losing a game they were never in, and making it a sloppy and embarrassing one, to boot: Infielders unable to field, misplayed double plays, slipshod base running, terrible SB prevention on defense and SB execution on offense. All that really was missing? A patented 16-K, 2-BB game by the batters or the strange bullpen implosion of a close game.
Anyhow, there’s still a shot at a series win on Sunday, if you believe in miracles.
