Avisail Garcia returned to the starting lineup after missing Monday’s game with nausea and flu-like symptoms. He came to the park and was in the early lineup but was scratched and went to see an off-site doctor as a precaution.

Garcia returned to the team late in Monday’s game and entered as a defensive replacement. He is hitting .273 with 10 home runs, and has a hit in 15 of his last 17 games.

Manager Rick Renteria inserted left-handed hitters Omar Narvaez and Nicky Delmonico into the lineup against Angels starter Felix Pena.
