Avi Garcia knocked out three hits and now leads the American League in hitting, Sox home run leader Matt Davidson went deep for his third long one in as many games and newly acquired Alen Hanson hit his first career homer in the Sox’ 10–6 loss to the Orioles at Guaranteed Rate Field.
Avi’s double and two singles raised his league-leading average to .339. He is batting .409 with six multi-hit performances over the last 12 games.
Davidson’s home run, a solo blast, was his team-leading 13th and came a day after his first career grand slam.
