Thirty-two games into the season, the White Sox have the best record in the American League. They are now 22-10, with a five-game lead in the AL Central, following a Mother’s Day weekend sweep of the Minnesota Twins at U.S. Cellular Field.
The reality of that, quite candidly, makes my head spin. Not even the most optimistic among us would have projected that the Sox would be the best team in the AL on May 9, and with good reason. The core of the team won 76 games last year and many of the new additions had question marks.
