The White Sox’s best pitcher from 2018 will make his Cactus League debut Wednesday.
Reynaldo Lopez led the team with a Wins Above Replacement of 3.1. That’s not exactly a sexy figure, nor was his 7-10 record or his 3.91 ERA.
But Lopez had a strong season, especially considering it was his first full one, and he has a goal in mind for 2019 — a sub-3.00 ERA.
“Because of the experience I gained last year, I am more prepared,” he said. “Every year you learn. Every day you learn new things.
