ACE Update: Youth Baseball Season Starts with Five Championship Wins

Each year, more than 150 young athletes sport White Sox jerseys as members of the Amateur City Elite (ACE) youth baseball program. The White Sox Charities-sponsored program aims to pull Chicago youth away from the inner-city dangers and provide them with the skills and opportunities to succeed both on the diamond and in life. Since its inception in 2007, the program has helped more than 190 athletes receive college scholarships, with 24 athletes selected in the major-league draft. ACE includes programs at the 12U, 13U, 14U, 15U, 16U and 17U levels.

The 2019 season of ACE kicked off three weeks ago, with three of the four active teams bringing home five tournament championships.
