Intimidators Looking for South Atlantic League Championship
The Kannapolis Intimidators, the Sox’ Class A affiliate, defeated Greensboro, 3–1, last night to sweep the South Atlantic League Northern Division playoff series and earn a trip to the SAL Championship Series. It’s the first time K-town will play for the league title since 2005.
Blake Hickman (pictured above) — a product of the White Sox Amateur City Elite program — was the starting and winning pitcher, allowing one run on two hits and two walks while striking out four in five innings.
