Yolmer Sánchez smashed a run-scoring triple — tying him for the MLB lead with his fifth three-bagger of the season — James Shields registered a quality start (seven innings, three runs) and José Rondón belted his third homer as the White Sox dropped the rubber game of the three-game series to the Tigers, 3–2, at Comerica Park in Detroit.
With two stolen bases yesterday — Sánchez (4) and Daniel Palka (2) — the Sox also extended their MLB-leading total to 45. Tim Anderson leads the way with 11.
