A Perfect Storm

Today’s News

Yesterday’s Highlights

After a rain delay of nearly five hours, the White Sox put it all together — combining a potent offense with a pitching gem by Jose Quintana — to blank the Twins, 9–0, in the finale of both the three-game series at Target Field and six-game road swing.

The Sox, who went 3–3 on the trip, got out of the gate quickly, scoring five runs in the first inning via two-run homers by Jose Abreu (13) and Todd Frazier (12) plus an RBI single by Adam Engel, the first ribbie of his career.
