A healthy Nick Madrigal is eager for his 1st full season with the Chicago White Sox after getting ‘a little taste’ last year

“I was kind of nervous of it popping out again,” Madrigal said last week during a conference call. “It’s just a weird feeling once it happens. You kind of have it in the back of your mind and really don’t want that feeling ever again.”

Madrigal, who turns 24 on Friday, had his shoulder repaired in October. He said Thursday he was feeling “really good” at this point in spring training.

“I feel as each week has gone by, I’m getting stronger and stronger,” he said. “The soreness is starting to go away. I’m starting to face live pitching and take a lot more swings on a daily basis.
