Somewhere, Hawk Harrelson is reading about Luis Robert's feats of strength out in Arizona and saying, "I think this kid's gonna be a monster."
That bet is looking safer and safer by the day. Despite the fact that Robert has just 50 games of minor league experience under his belt, everything he does seems to make someone say, "Wow." And after battling injuries throughout the 2018 season, a fully healthy Robert is doing big things in the early going of Cactus League play.
Robert didn't even get the start for the White Sox on Friday against the Texas Rangers, but he tripled in his first at-bat and came through in the clutch in his second, knocking a three-run dinger out of the park to turn a one-run deficit into a two-run lead in the ninth inning.
