Lucas Giolito and three relievers limited the Cubs to just three hits and Matt Davidson delivered his 11th homer of the season as the White Sox came from behind yesterday to take the finale of the three-game series, 5–3, at Wrigley Field.
The Sox and Cubs will conclude their battle for the Crosstown Cup September 21–23 at Guaranteed Rate Field.
Giolito (2–4), who earned the victory, went 5.2 innings. Jace Fry (1.1 IP), Nate Jones (1.0) and Bruce Rondón came on in relief to blank the North Siders the rest of the way.
