People across Chicago gather and give back every day for countless reasons, often around one core commonality. For White Sox Volunteer Corps members, there are two things that bring them together: the love of the White Sox and a passion for making their community a better place to live, work and play.
This year the White Sox are proud to celebrate the Volunteer Corp’s 10th anniversary. The program started in 2009 when President Barack Obama called on Americans to give back to and help improve their communities. The White Sox responded quickly with a program whose goal was to unite White Sox fans, team members and staff through service.
