The Chicago White Sox return to the postseason this afternoon for the first time in 12 years, taking on the Oakland A’s in a 2 p.m. start on ESPN.
No one has more fun in the Sox dugout than Eloy Jimenez, but the left fielder was relatively somber Monday when discussing his status after missing the series against the Cubs with a right foot sprain from a slide last Thursday during a loss at Cleveland.
“I was like a little bit sad because of what happened in Cleveland,” Jimenez said on a teleconfernce after Monday's workout in Oakland.
