“I’m feeling good,” Jimenez later said in a conference call. “First couple of days in this weather. (It’s) humid. It’s good, but I’m going to be better and better and better past (this) week.”
Saturday marked the team’s second day of summer camp workouts, and Sox manager Rick Renteria was pleased with how players remained in shape while away during baseball’s break because of the coronavirus pandemic.
“There will be a couple of guys that will need to push themselves a little bit more, but in general, I think we’re OK,” Renteria said. “Guys have been keeping on top of their game.
