GOODYEAR, ARIZ. — Eloy Jimenez went 2-for-3 with a home run and triple for the Chicago White Sox on Thursday in a 7-4 loss to the Cincinnati Reds in a Cactus League Game at Goodyear Ballpark.
Lopez cited tipping pitches for some of the trouble he ran into during his third and final inning of work. He surrendered back-to-back homers to the Reds’ Nick Castellanos and Mike Moustakas.
“My goal today was execute and throw good fastballs, and I think I did a good job doing that,” Lopez said through an interpreter. “I think I was tipping with some of my pitches and that was probably one of the reasons why the third inning happened.
