With one more off day until baseball season starts anew with two weeks until the non-waiver trade deadline, here are 10 storylines to follow for the White Sox and the Cubs as they prepare for their separate and unequal playoff journeys.
First up, the White Sox, who at 45-43 are realistically alive in the American League playoff race but most likely dead. They probably wouldn’t get the flak they got in 1997 for a White Flag trade, but no one expects that to happen this season.
