VICTORIA — The last time I watched a Raptors intrasquad game in British Columbia, Linas Kleiza was the best player on the floor. Which is to say, intrasquad games are to pre-season games as pre-season games are to regular-season games: indicative of nothing.
Yet, the Raptors’ first public outing was Thursday night on the Ken & Kathy Shields Court at the University of Victoria. It is also the only public game-type thing that will not be televised in Canada this year. Accordingly, it seems like a good time to break out an abbreviated version of 10 Observations in Team Lowry’s 89-63 win over Team DeRozan in a 40-minute, running-time scrimmage on Thursday night.
