In today's White Sox rumors and news update, Chicago White Sox starting pitcher John Danks and outfielder Dayan Viciedo are currently receiving the most buzz when it comes to potential trades before the July 31st non-waiver deadline.
According to Chris Cotillo of the MLB Daily Dish, multiple teams look to be in on both players:

The New York Yankees are reportedly very high on Danks and are currently engaged in preliminary talks with the White Sox about the 29-year-old lefty. Danks is 8-6 this season with a 4.35 ERA. His sub-two K/BB ratio and 1.419 WHIP show how much he's struggled this year, but the Yankees seem adamant that the double-digit game winner from 2008-2010 is still lurking in there.
In Viciedo's case, while he is hitting just .236 with a .287 on-base percentage in 2014, the 25-year-old is continuing to show continued growth power-wise with twelve home runs in 360 at-bats.
