New Chicago White Sox ace Jeff Samardzija is excited to be back home, and it looks like he'd be happy to stay for a very long time if things work out over the 2015 MLB season's first half.

Samardzija can opt for free agency after the 2015 MLB season, so it's imperative that the White Sox put their best foot forward both on the field and in the clubhouse to make sure this partnership isn't a one-and-done waiting to happen.
The 30-year-old finished with an aggregate 2.99 ERA and a sterling 202/43 K/BB ratio in 219.2 innings in time split between the Cubs and the Athletics in 2014.
