Chicago Fire Academy alum Victor Bezerra continues to absolutely dominate for Indiana University.
Off a Bezerra brace, the No. 3 Hoosiers beat Maryland 2-0 Wednesday in the semifinals of the Big Ten Men’s Soccer Tournament.
Both goals came right after halftime. For the first, which you have to see to fully appreciate, Bezerra makes a run to the near post, and volleys a long cross with perfect precision. For the second a few minutes later, Bezerra tucks an indirect free kick perfectly into the bottom corner.
Take a look at both:
The Fire’s Senior Director of Football Operations, Eddie Rock, has told Hot Time in Old Town the club is watching Bezerra carefully, and he’ll likely be invited to train with the team once the NCAA season is over.
