It’s been a tough year for the Chicago Fire. Another wasted year lead to a midseason coach firing and another year of extreme roster turnover. That being said, there were still some excellent individual performances to salivate over. But the player who was the best, the most, was Luka Stojanovic. Luka started the year slowly, clearly still recovering from the surgery that ended his season last year after only 30 minutes. But he battled back to be one of the best players on the squad when they finally got rolling a bit in July. Until a few weeks ago, he was in sole possession of the team golden boot race with 8 goals, a record he would end up sharing with Robert Beric at the end of the season.
