After two seasons, the Chicago Fire are leaving behind perhaps the worst logo in Major League Soccer, and replacing it with one of the best.
The new logo, which features a light-blue Florian cross with a red “C” and a Chicago six-pointed star, is immediately recognizable as a Chicago Fire logo. It’s a simpler, streamlined version of the club’s original Florian Cross crest. And, hopefully, it’s one that unites the fanbase, after the Fire Crown mess of the last two seasons.
The Fire absolutely had to get this right, and they did.
