Steve Kerr acknowledged the other day that he’s been so frustrated by the Warriors’ so-so start to the season that he’s had to fight off the urge to snap, and in the past that has meant a shortened the life expectancy for the dry-erase boards he uses to draw up plays. It’s easy to understand why Kerr might be tempted to smash something, because his supremely talented team has only sporadically played up to its capability so far.
Granted, it’s early, but the Warriors have been sloppy on offense at times, short on defensive intensity at others, and generally not nearly as focused as they will eventually need to be if they intend to defend their title.
