Section 8 Chicago held their annual general meeting at Schuba’s in Lakeview today in order to elect and welcome the new Board of Directors for 2019.
The new Chairperson is Nicole Hack of CF97 Sirens, who we interviewed yesterday. Along with fellow Sirens Moria Nestmann, the new head of marketing, and new Finance Director Carri Alldredge, three of eight positions on the 2019 Board are held by women. Rounding out the unopposed races is the new Vice-Chair, Marty Tomszak, and new Fundraising Director Nate Thompson.
The two contested races were for Director Of Events and Communications Director.
