With a win tonight over NYCFC, the Chicago Fire would have their first three game winning streak since the middle of the 2017 season, when the team had two, four game winning streaks over a nine game stretch.
The two teams will meet at Yankee Stadium—this one was originally slated for Red Bull Arena because the New York Yankees thought they might be in the World Series, but, alas, it’s been shipped back to the Bronx.
It’s either exciting or depressing depending on how you look at it, but Chicago is playing some of their best soccer of the last couple seasons at the moment.
