Major League Soccer confirmed that the 2019 SuperDraft will be held in Chicago in January.
According to the official statement, the league will first host the MLS Combine in Orlando to give coaches and scouts the opportunity to evaluate prospective young talent. Everyone then gets to fly north to experience the sublime beauty of Chicago Winter and crowd into McCormick Place, where teams will start haggling ahead of selection time.
Four players selected by the Chicago Fire in the 2018 SuperDraft made it onto the final roster ahead of the start of the regular season: Jon Bakero, Mo Adams, Diego Campos, Elliot Collier.
