"Largest gathering of soccer coaches and administrators in the world" set to hit Chicago's shores for 2018 United Soccer Coaches Convention

For five days in early January, Chicago will become the focal point of the American soccer landscape. Over 13,000 visitors are expected when the 2019 United Soccer Coaches Convention descends on Chicago's McCormick Place from January 9-13, and will also host both Major League Soccer's SuperDraft and the National Women's Soccer League's College Draft.

"Chicago -- and Illinois in general -- has such great soccer tradition from having both a men’s and a women’s pro team to the number of great youth teams they have, and high school and college programs," Lesle Gallimore, President of the United Soccer Coaches Board of Directors, said.
