18-year-old Colombian forward Jhon Durán put on a show last night in the Chicago Fire’s 2-0 win over Toronto FC, so it should come as no surprise that he was voted as the MLS Player of the Week in week 20.
Durán was given the nod to start by head coach Ezra Hendrickson following a pair of impressive performances in the previous two games. With merely three minutes on the clock, his pressing high up the field forced a turnover, and after a quick one-two with Chris Mueller, Durán found himself bearing down on goal.
