The annual Brimstone Cup matchup is tonight as Chicago Fire face off against MLS-leading FC Dallas
So confession: I’m actually moving today, so I have about five free minutes to write this preview. So this is all going to be written stream-of-conscious, bear with me. The Fire hope to end the tired narrative that they cannot win on the road (two years and counting!) as they head to the Lone Star State. Unfortunately, they have to do that against an FC Dallas team that leads the MLS with 37 points in 21 matches. Tonight’s match will be for more than just the Brimstone Cup, but a chance for the Fire to get their season back on track as it heads into the final half.
