After two hard-fought and wildly entertaining conference championship series, the matchup is now set for the 2016 MLS Cup Final.
Despite needing extra time to secure a 7-5 aggregate win over the Montreal Impact on Wednesday night, Toronto FC will play host in their first-ever appearance in the final match on Saturday, Dec. 10 (7 pm CT, FOX/UniMás). After going down 3-2 in the series' first leg, U.S. international forward Jozy Altidore powered the team to a come-from-behind victory against their Canadian rivals with a goal and an assist in his team's home leg. They'll face off against the Seattle Sounders, who won the West on Sunday against Colorado on the strength of a Jordan Morris finish.
