Chicago Fire defender Francisco Calvo provide the late theatrics in Costa Rica's 2-1 win over Curaçao on Thursday night, heading home the match-winning goal in the 84th minute.
In his 50th appearance for Costa Rica, Calvo got his first start in Concacaf Nations League play. Los Ticos opened scoring in the 14th minute -- courtesy of a Johan Venegas penalty kick -- before Curaçao equalized six minutes later through Rangelo Janga.
The score remained level at one until Costa Rica earned a corner kick in the 84th minute. Rándall Leal's out-swinging service found the head of Calvo, who rose up for the near-post finish.
