Recently called into U.S. U-19 National Team training camp by head coach Brad Friedel, Chicago Fire Homegrown midfielder Djordje Mihailovic notched an impressive free kick goal Thursday in a friendly against NASL side Miami FC.
The Chicago Fire Academy and PDL product leveled the match at one with his second-half strike, although Miami FC would go on to win, 2-1, in its inaugural preseason outing. The game was played at St. Thomas University in Miami.
Mihailovic -- who officially inked his Homegrown contract on January 27 -- had previously scored while representing for the U.
