The 20-year-old entered in the 74th minute for midfielder Weston McKinnie, after McKinnie departed the game with an injury concern. The appearance marked Mihailoviu0107's fourth with the senior national team after making his international debut for the Stars and Stripes in a late January friendly against Panama.
