Even expecting a result like this, seeing it actually unfold is disappointing. Despite that though, there were a few bright spots to report. Included in that is the performance of our man of the match Ignacio Aliseda. He completed every single pass he made, including a few that led to some of the Fire’s scoring opportunities, and he kept the offense rolling during the mid-game with an effective high press that kept the momentum with the Chicago eleven.
