When the Chicago Fire take on Jim Curtin’s Philadelphia Union this afternoon, the team will be without new signing Stanislav Ivanov for the second straight match. Ivanov, who is expected to play a big part in the Fire’s attack this season, is suffering from knee pain, but it’s still unclear if it’s serious.
“He trained with the team again, but he then had again to stop,” Fire head coach Raphael Wicky said. “We are still waiting to see how he feels.”
Like last week, the match stream is available at ChicagoFireFC.com, but only for fans who live within 75 miles of Soldier Field.
