For the second week in a row, the Chicago Fire find themselves in a matchup of two teams pushing for their first MLS wins of the season. While the Fire have dropped two straight on the road since drawing the home opener, the Union are a tale of two teams: winless in MLS, but representing the league as a semi-finalist in the Concacaf Champions League.
Make no mistake, despite the Union’s MLS record, winning today won’t be easy for the Fire.
“I think we just keep doing what we’re doing, working hard, and hopefully those things will start to fall our way, get some results moving forward,” Fire midfielder/defender Mauricio Pineda said.
