CHICAGO, Ill. (June 21, 2016) – The Chicago Fire got three points at home on Tuesday when Kokomo Mantis FC visited Toyota Park in search of revenge for their 3-2 defeat in Chicago on June 7th.
The Fire started the game fast when Cameron Lindley found himself on top of the ball for a free kick just outside the side of the box. Lindley managed to connect with Defender Andrew Gutman, who redirected the ball off his head into the back of the net. The Fire pressured high up the field early and were able to create a number of dangerous opportunities as a result.
