Chicago Fire Fall 2-1 to Toronto FC

BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. (Sept. 10, 2016) – The Chicago Fire fell 2-1 to Toronto FC on Saturday evening at Toyota Park, snapping a 12-game home unbeaten streak that began on April 30, 2016.

Toronto opened scoring in the 33rd minute when Justin Morrow dribbled down the left flank and played a square ball into the 18-yard-box and found Jozy Altidore, who took a quick touch to settle and sent his right-footed shot past an outstretched Sean Johnson for the lead.

The visitors doubled that lead in the 52nd minute when they capitalized on a turnover. Altidore got a foot out to cut off a Johnson throw.
