Chicago Fire Earn First Shutout of 2016 in 0-0 Draw Against Columbus Crew SC

BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. (March 19, 2016) – The Chicago Fire earned their first shutout of the season in a 0-0 draw against 2015 MLS Cup Finalist Columbus Crew SC on Saturday at Toyota Park.

Facing the club with which he spent his first four professional seasons, Fire goalkeeper Matt Lampson made four saves to pick up his first clean sheet in a Chicago uniform and the sixth of his career. His efforts were assisted by a back line of Rodrigo Ramos, Joao Meira, Johan Kappelhof, Jonathan Campbell and Brandon Vincent.

Both teams limited scoring chances for most of the match.
