Chicago Fire Drop 2-0 Road Result Against New England Revolution

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (May 14, 2016) – Playing their second road game of the week after a cross-country journey from Vancouver, the Chicago Fire fell 2-0 Saturday night against the New England Revolution at Gillette Stadium.

Recent Fire signing Khaly Thiam made his debut for the Men in Red, starting and playing 64 minutes before subbing off for Razvan Cocis. Additionally, Fire midfielder David Accam played his first match since March 11 after missing the last two months with a sprained knee.

Despite the reinforcements, the Fire ultimately came up short. New England struck first on a set piece in the 22nd minute.
