MONTREAL, Ont., CA. (Aug. 20, 2016) – The Chicago Fire picked up their first road win of 2016 courtesy a 3-0 blanking of the Montreal Impact at Stade Saputo on Saturday night.
New man Luis Solignac put the Fire ahead just 15 minutes into his second start since being acquired in July. After David Accam made a trademark zig-zagging run down the center of the Montreal defense, he laid the ball off to an in-tow Solignac. The Argentine made a cut to his right in the box and coolly finished across the face of Evan Bush’s net.
